TRAINING NEWS
Team Spartan presented Rapid Deployment Pistol Operator classes last month at the Indiana SWAT Officer's Association (ISOA) Annual Training Conference in Fort Wayne, Indiana and the Midwest Tactical Officer's Association (MTOA) Annual Training Conference in Volk Field, Wisconsin. The classes were action packed as Tactical Officers and SWAT Operators from local, county, state and federal agencies in Indiana and Wisconsin attended this intense, dynamic course. In addition, DS Arms also donated an SA58 .308 rifle as one of the raffle prizes for the ISOA conference, and an FN 12 gauge tactical shotgun for the MTOA conference in support of these outstanding organizations!

NORTH SUBURBAN POLICE PISTOL LEAGUE - NSPPL
The North Suburban Police Pistol League (NSPPL) offers a variety of shooting venues to compete in, offering matches in Combat (both open and duty classes), bullseye, off-duty handgun, snub nose revolver, long range rifle and 3-gun. The NSPPL also conducts an Annual Awards Banquet at the end of each shooting season, recognizing the top shooters of the league in 6 ranking catagories for each venue. The NSPPL offers one of the most impressive prize tables in the shooting industry, with over 50 firearms given away at last years banquet! 2009 Illinois Police Association - Combat Matches
The Harvey Police Department will host Illinois Police Association combat and bullseye matches again in 2009 at the Harvey Police Department range in May and June. These matches will also be co-sponsored by the North Suburban Police Pistol League. Match dates at Harvey PD range are set for - May 20th, 2009 and June 17th, 2009. 2009 Action Target (LETC) - Law Enforcement Training Camp
Action Target will once again be running the Law Enforcement Training Camp (LETC) for 2009. The LETC will be held on the following dates: - LETC West - September 14th - 18th, 2009 in Provo, Utah This exciting firearms instructor development camp is packed with over a dozen world class presentations from some of the top law enforcement trainers in the country! You'll attend classes with different instructors each day for 4 days and have an opportunity to network with fellow firearms instructors from agencies across the country! The LETC also offers you an opportunity to show off your skills in the classic "Dirty Harry" pistol competition where instructor students compete for prizes and bragging rights! Theres no down time here! If you like to shoot, and you're looking for a fun and exciting training conference to attend, the LETC is for you! INSTRUCTOR STAFF DEVELOPMENTS
To work on staff as an instructor with Team Spartan, we require that all of our instructors maintain the ability to perform on demand, all drills and courses of fire that we ask our students to perform. To maintain this level of performance, our instructors continuously attend training programs and instructor training conferences with other agencies and organizations to stay razor sharp!
