Pre-requisite: Defensive Duty Knife 1 Course and successful completion of the DDK1 combined skills evaluation test.
Course Description: This intense 8-hour training block takes the student beyond the basics and focuses on intermediate skills for carrying and deploying the law enforcement duty knife / rescue tool.
Emphasis on developing combined skills and tactical application of the duty knife takes the duty knife operator to the next level.
This course is directed at developing intermediate operator skills for the defensive use of the duty knife / rescue tool through force-on-target and force-on-force training.
Our Defensive Duty Knife Program focuses on training law enforcement officers and armed professionals in reasonable and effective deployment of the duty knife as a defensive tool and justifies its application within the Use of Force Continuum.

Student requirements: Mouth guard, groin protection, comfortable clothing suitable for contact with the ground and duty belt.
(Body armor is optional unless it is required by your agency during training)
Recommended personal equipment: Kneepads, neoprene gloves or padded gloves, redman padded head protection, red gun, towel, hydration system and water.
