Non-LEO training pre-requisite: Our 3-day Defensive Handgun Certification Course or firearms training course of equivalent level. (Contingent to student's prior training review by our instructor staff)
Law Enforcement Officers that have completed their state certified Basic Law Enforcement Academy Certification training meet the pre-requisite handgun training standards for this course.
Post-Incident Legal Defense Support: This training curriculum meets ILETSB training standards. Curriculum materials; lesson plan, course itinerary, syllabus with SPO’s, student performance records, instructor certification credentials and list of supporting reference materials are available for post-incident legal defense depositions and legal defense litigation discovery.
Course Description: This intense 2-day firearms training course focuses on aggressive gun-handling skills and dynamic action while deploying the handgun in low light / diminished light environments.
Students will learn how to execute low-light tactical concepts and target discrimination while using various flashlight deployment techniques. Multi-tasking and movement in diminished light will also be emphasized throughout the course.
This course will extensively cover how the human eye works in diminished light, use of ambient light during threat engagement as well as various flashlight deployment techniques to illuminate, identify and disorient threats.
Students should be familiar with their equipment and have solid intermediate gun-handling skills established prior to attending this firearms training course.
Students that have completed our 2-day Covert Carry Strategies & Tactics Certification Course are eligible to work from concealed carry in this class.
This is an excellent skill building course for students seeking to enhance their IDPA skill-set and concealed carry tactics.

Student
requirements: Note pad & pen, eye protection, ear protection, baseball type cap, heavy-duty leather or nylon pants belt, holster and
magazine carriers, personal defense handgun with at least (3) standard capacity magazines or (5) single stack magazines, at least (1) reliable handheld flashlight, handgun cleaning kit and gun oil / CLP.
Recommended equipment: Weapon mounted flashlights are allowed in addition to the required hand held flashlight, bring more then one handheld flashlight in case your primary light goes down, bring replacement batteries and / or battery chargers, zip-up or button-up concealment garments / vests are allowed (optional).
Ammunition requirements: 600 rounds (minimum)

Pistol Mounted Optic / Red Dot Sight handguns are allowed in this course.
This course will be limited to Personal Defense handguns that are designed to be carried for personal protection. Competition pistols will not be allowed in this course.
