3-hour Illinois Concealed Carry License Renewal - Handgun Qualification Course
Course # ICCL.0132.1-3H (3-hour renewal program)
This curriculum is approved by the Illinois State Police and has been assigned Curriculum Approval ID # CCC13A0983
Students seeking to renew their Illinois Concealed Carry License will be required to pass a 30-round handgun qualification course.
Students are required to fire 10 rounds from the 5-yard line, 10 rounds from the 7-yard line and 10 rounds from the 10-yard line.
All rounds fired during this qualification course are untimed.
Students must score at least 21 out of the 30 shots fired inside the scoring ring zone of an ISP approved B-27 silhouette target to pass this course of fire.
Targets will then be scored for Certified Rating of Marksman, Sharpshooter or Expert and an additional certificate, provided by Spartan Tactical, will accompany the Illinois State Police Concealed Carry Certificate issued to each student, documenting your certified rating.
The entire live-fire qualification course will be conducted by presentation from the holster, from concealment.
Qualification Course of Fire / Stage Sequence;
High-capacity shooters will load their magazines to 10 rounds per magazine and low-capacity shooters will load their magazines to 5 rounds per magazine.
Extra ammunition will be kept in a pocket on the support side to be used to recharge magazines in between stages.
Shooters will start at the 5-yard line and will face downrange, load, make ready and holster on range command.
Stage 1 @ the 5 Yard Line - Total Rounds Fired = 5
On the execution command draw from concealment and fire 5 rounds (low-capacity shooters will perform an emergency reload) then assess the threat, scan and recover back to the holster.
Stage 2 @ the 5 Yard Line - Total Rounds Fired = 5
On the execution command draw from concealment and fire 5 rounds (all shooters will perform an emergency reload) then assess the threat, scan and recover back to the holster.
(Once the line is called safe, shooters will recover their magazines from the range floor, recharge their magazines as needed and return them to the magazine pouches on their belt)
Shooters will then move back to the 7-yard line.
Stage 3 @ the 7 Yard Line - Total Rounds Fired = 5
