Pre-requisite: Our 3-day Defensive Handgun Certification Course or firearms training course of equivalent level.
Law Enforcement Officers that have completed their state certified Basic Law Enforcement Academy Certification training meet the pre-requisite training standards for this course.
Course Description: This intense 2-day firearms training course introduces the student to unorthodox shooting positions and techniques with the handgun that can be used when fighting from the seated position, being knocked to the ground or under injured circumstances during a violent confrontation.
The techniques presented in this firearms training course have been established from real world situations that law enforcement officers and lawfully armed citizens have experienced during deadly force encounters with violent assailants.
During violent deadly assaults, it is not uncommon to be engaged while in positions of tactical disadvantage such as; being seated in a vehicle, knocked to the ground during the fight or injured when these situations occur. This may result in having to shoot, perform reloading techniques and clear malfunctions with only one hand.
