Pre-requisite: Our 2-day Defensive Rifle Certification Course, 2-day Basic Patrol Rifle Certification Course or firearms training course of equivalent level and handgun training course equivalent to our 3-day Defensive Handgun Certification Course. (Contingent to student's prior training review by our instructor staff)
Law Enforcement Officers that have completed their state certified Basic Law Enforcement Academy Certification training meet the pre-requisite handgun training standards for this course.
Course Description: This 2-day firearms training course will focus on introducing the student to tactical concepts and dynamic actions that are used to negotiate doorways, make room entry and safely clear rooms with the rifle / carbine.
Techniques will cover strategies on how to deal with closed and opened doorways, moving through doorway openings, controlled room entry techniques and room domination.
Students will learn individual and two person team room entry techniques while engaging single threats and multiple threats during shoot / no-shoot decision making drills.
Students will also learn Close Quarter Battle (CQB) techniques and advanced combat gun-handling skills that are necessary to engage threats from contact distance out to 25 yards.
This is a fast paced, physically demanding firearms training course! Students should be in good physical condition, familiar with their equipment and have solid intermediate gun-handling skills established prior to attending this firearms training course.

Student
requirements:
Note pad and pen, eye protection, ear protection, baseball type cap, heavy-duty leather or nylon pants belt, holster and magazine carriers, personal defense pistol with at least 3 magazines, personal defense rifle with at least 4 magazines, tactical sling, gun cleaning kit and gun oil / CLP.
Recommended equipment: Red dot sights and holographic sights are allowed, back-up iron sights, rain gear, sunscreen, insect repellent, knee pads, hydration system and water.
Equipment requirements: If you are using an electronic / red dot sight, it must be capable of zero magnification. We also recommend having back-up iron sights on your rifle in case your electronic sight goes down.
This course will be limited to Duty Use / Personal Defense use type rifles only. Competition configured rifles will not be allowed in this course!
Standard personal defense trigger-pull weight should be between 6 - 4.5 pounds. Any rifles with competition style triggers under 4.5 pounds will be disqualified for use in this course.
Ammunition requirements: 600 rounds of rifle ammunition and 100 rounds of handgun ammunition (minimum)
(Frangible rifle ammunition is required for the live-fire shoot-house at The Site = 500 rounds of standard FMJ rifle ammunition and 100 rounds of frangible rifle ammunition.)

Rifle ammunition must be new manufacture (Federal, Remington, Winchester, etc.)
Absolutely no reloaded or remanufactured ammunition!
