Martial Blade Concepts:
Defensive Knife Skills Level 2
Course # MBC2.0844.2 (8-hour Course)
Michigan MCOLES Approved Course
(Approved by the Michigan Commission on LE Standards)
Pre-requisite: Martial Blade Concepts: Defensive Knife Skills Level 1 Course.
Michael Janich has teamed up with Spartan Tactical in a Strategic Partnership to offer his world renowned Martial Blade Concepts training system.
Martial Blade Concepts (MBC) is an edged-weapon system specifically designed to meet the needs of today’s concerned citizen and armed professional.
Based on Michael Janich’s extensive analysis of the Filipino martial arts and many other systems, MBC takes combat-proven tactics and adapts them to modern tools, threats, and legal concerns. The result is a practical, easy-to-learn system that is ideally suited to modern self-defense.
MBC tactics focus on “stopping power” - the ability to immediately and decisively stop an assailant from continuing his attack. This system emphasizes an in-depth understanding of human physiology and the most effective methods of targeting key structures with small, legal-to-carry knives.
Using “biomechanical targeting”, this approach has been thoroughly reviewed and validated by leading experts in the field of tactical medicine.
Course Description: This 1-day training course builds on the defensive knife skills and theories learned in the MBC 1 course.
Students will enhance their MBC skill-sets by working advanced multi-tasking drills, combining defensive applications and counter measures into a refined flowing technique.
